The creators of the Alexia Foundation believe that if people of different cultures learn to understand each other and learn to appreciate each other’s cultures, then there will be much less conflict between those cultures. We believe that the power of photographs can do this better than any other medium. We believe that photojournalists are very effective agents for change.
